The DOGS<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

David breeds Alaskan dogs since the beginning of the adventure. This constantly evolving breed is probably the most versatile. Depending on the bloodline and the training given, this breed of dog can be a fearsome sprinter or an indefatigable long distance runner.<\/p>\n

We have opted for the happy medium, preferring dogs a little bit heavier with a long fast and supple trot that allows to cover long distances in a short period of time.<\/p>\n

Our dogs are real athletes and we show them a lot of love and the utmost respect. We will be happy to introduce you to them when you visit us and you will be able to witness their joy of running along our trails! Lastly, our dogs are all very sociable and they show a strong preference to anyone who generously gives out big hugs!<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

David BOYER<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

David is the owner and the musher (guide) of the pack. Already at the age of 12, he had harnessed the labrador of the family home to a sled made from a pair of skis and an old chair. After a few years of service with mushers of the region, David created his own pack with which he entered a few races and went on numerous expeditions.<\/p>\n

While pursuing advanced studies in history that led him to become a teacher, David always kept his dogs. When he decided to make his home on the land of his family’s farm with his wife Marie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne, David decided, while working full time on the organic field crops and beef cattle farm, to live his passion by working with his dogs all winter.<\/p>\n

Around the end of February, David participated in a few mid-distance races (about 100 km); races in which him and his dogs have finished in first or second place for a few years! Please know that when you leave on a ride, you also participate in the training of the dogs!<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMarie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne shares her passion for nature, the great wide open and animals with David. At Aventures Liguoriennes, she has the great joy of welcoming you upon your arrival. She makes sure young and old will have the nesessary equipment to stay warm all along the ride. She is also deeply involved with the socialization of the puppies and the training of the dogs.\r\n\r\nEver since she was young, Marie has always had a special feeling for all creatures of the Earth. It is her love for travel that led her to become a Spanish teacher, after having studied many languages.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Pierre-Luc B\u00c9LANGER<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Originally from the Lanaudi\u00e8re region, Pierre-Luc has always had a passion for animals, especially dogs, with whom he shares a deep friendship. Adventurous by nature, his interest in dog sledding was awakened during his many snowshoe outings with his own dogs.<\/p>\n

His debut with the Aventures Liguoriennes team dates back to 2017, when he was working part-time during his bachelor’s degree in anthropology. Since then, Pierre-Luc renews his relationships with his human and dog colleagues every winter, where he enjoys watching the puppies grow up and the doyens grow old.<\/p>\n

Continuing his graduate studies, Pierre-Luc is now conducting ethnographic research on the contemporary place of the dog among the Innu, an native population of northeastern Quebec. Although he enjoys working in the academic world, the moments he shares with the team’s amazed clientele are a constant reminder that his work as a musher is one of the best in the world!<\/p>\n

Freshly arrived in Canada, Camille is a true explorer in search of discovery and adventure. She grew up in Grenoble, in the middle of the French Alps, and went on to study human resources management before discovering a taste for travel. She lived in New Zealand for a year, then traveled to many other countries.<\/p>\n

Passionate about outdoor adventure sports, Camille loves taking on new challenges and learning new things.
\nHer experiences in cani-rando and on a New Zealand farm have enabled her to develop a deep connection with dogs and expertise in handling them. Upon arriving in Quebec, she completed the \u00a8Guide d’attelage canin\u00a8 training program before continuing her apprenticeship with Les Aventures Liguoriennes. Enthusiastic and with excellent social skills, Camille is eager to share her passion and take on new challenges in the canine field.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
